CooperVision®, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of soft contact lenses, reaffirmed its commitment to improve the vision of people globally through its corporate partnership with International Association of Contact Lens Educators (IACLE).

The partnership, which spans over a decade, will facilitate the participation of IACLE’s Asia Pacific coordinators at an annual strategic meeting and Asia-Pacific Optometric Congress (APOC) in Korea in October 2013.

The IACLE meeting will build direction and strategic planning to strengthen the educational infrastructure for contact lens educators in the region in 2014. While at APOC 2013, IACLE coordinators will have the opportunity to meet other eye care professionals, engage in dialogue, explore innovations and achieve insights into best practices.

They can also visit CooperVision’s booth at APOC 2013 to view its proprietary Toric lens design, featuring optimized lens geometry, uniform horizontal ISO thickness and wide ballast design.

In addition, IACLE coordinators will also have the opportunity to interact with Dr Chang Lin Song, Dean of Student Affairs from Department of Optometry, Yuanpei University, Taiwan, at APOC 2013 where he will be presenting a poster focused on the investigation of the fitting performance of CooperVision’s daily disposable Toric contact lens to determine the empirical fitting success rate of this lens.
