Contact lens manufacturer to demonstrate why it is leading the way in patient retention and practice loyalty at this year’s show

Southampton, United Kingdom, 2nd June 2014 — ‘Imagine meeting every need. Imagine delighting every patient.’ This is contact lens manufacturer, CooperVision’s, theme for this year’s British Contact Lens Association’s (BCLA) Clinical Conference and Exhibition in Birmingham.

With the ability to satisfy simple single-vision needs to complex multifocal toric prescriptions and everything in between, CooperVision’s presence will centre on its extensive product range and the ability to delight patients in order to drive patient retention and practice loyalty – supporting its promise of bringing real advantages to both eye care practitioners and wearers.

Key products to be highlighted at the show include its award-winning MyDay® daily disposable silicone hydrogel lens, which utilises unique Smart Silicone™ chemistry to support patients’ end-of-day comfort. The focus will also be on its new Biofinity® XR lens and soon-to-come Biofinity XR toric, enabling practitioners to meet the needs of those patients with higher prescriptions.

Its stunningly designed exhibition stand will highlight the manufacturer’s depth and breadth of product range and is coupled with a comprehensive schedule of presentations and ‘Ask-the-Expert’ sessions.

Senior Director of Professional Affairs, Gary Orsborn, will be revealing to delegates CooperVision’s passion for meeting the needs of every patient at 4.30pm on Friday 6th June in Hall 1. Delegates also won’t want to miss the special Partner Showcase presentation on Monday 9th June at 12.15pm. Featuring high-profile guest speaker, Andrew McMillan, this exclusive session will unlock the secret to patient loyalty in Hall 9 based on Andrew’s extensive experience of leading the customer experience at renowned department store, John Lewis

For the first time, CooperVision will be hosting a series of unmissable ‘Ask-the-Expert’ question and answer sessions in its private meeting room across the four-day event. Bookable on a first come, first served basis, delegates should visit www.coopervision.co.uk/BCLA-experts-2014 to reserve their place on any of the clinical or commercial breakfast and lunchtime sessions running throughout the weekend.

Commenting on the show, Managing Director for the UK and Ireland, Nigel Mallinson said: “Following the tremendous success we experienced at last year’s event when we revealed MyDay to the world, we are looking to continue the momentum at this year’s event by communicating to practitioners all the different ways we can add value to their business. “We understand the importance of building patient loyalty and the fact that every patient is unique – which is why we aim to equip practitioners with a portfolio of world-class products and programmes to help them provide the best customer service possible to their patients. We look forward to a great event and discussing with delegates their thoughts and aspirations on meeting the patient needs of tomorrow.”
